Why do people plant trees in a straight line? Other than in an extremely formal landscape, this looks weird. Trees planted in a straight line look like tree soldiers in the yard. This is something that really bugs me, and it is a peeve to many others who are into horticulture. It just looks strange.
I once read, “God doesn’t plant trees in a straight line, so why do people do it?”.
Stagger the planting of trees and you will get a nicer, more natural look.
